Position Summary

We are seeking a senior, Lead BI Developer who will be responsible for development and leading a small team of BI developers for a healthcare SaaS platform. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, articulate, user-focused, independent, comfortable working in a fast-paced development environment, and have strong communication/interaction with U.S. based teams.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with U.S. based leadership and teams
• Design, develop, validate, and maintain Spotfire visualizations and dashboards
• Ensure standards, security, and performance
• Integrate various systems, tools, and third-party applications/interfaces
• Assist with troubleshooting, research, and POCs as needed
• Contribute to the overall design and scope of the Spotfire dashboard capabilities
• Work with other BI tools and techniques as needed

Qualifications

• At least 6 years of industry experience, with 3 years of experience in leading teams
• 2+ years' experience developing visualizations and dashboards in Spotfire
• Significant experience with different programming languages including python, R, JavaScript, and Java
• Knowledge of HTML and CSS
• Ability to work in a virtual, global and multi-cultural environment
• Experience with SQL development and optimization
• Strong experience with business intelligence tools: Spotfire is critical
• Experience with Agile development
• Experience creating complex Spotfire visualizations and dashboards

• Strong and effective oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skill
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently
• Demonstrated ability to help and lead team members
• Seen as a leader and mentors less experienced developers
• B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience

Nice to haves

• Knowledge of Spotfire internals
• Experience with other BI Tools: Power BI, QuickSite
