Roles and Responsibilities
QA Tester to assess software quality through manual and automated testing.
Finding and reporting bugs and glitches
Executing test scripts and reviewing results and documenting test cases
Achieve testing goals using SDLC and STLC phases
Hands-on using web-based and mobile testing frameworks (ex: Selenium WebDriver)
Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results
Create logs to document testing phases and defects using defect-tracking tools (ex: backlog, Mantis)
Help troubleshoot issues and analyzing codes using API testing tools
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
Desired Candidate Profile
Experience in project management and QA methodology
Exposure to various browsers
Basic HTML5, SQL for diagnostics and data verification
Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus
Good to have: Automated testing using Selenium, Javascript, basic Java, Junit.
Completion of the Automation-Selenium Certification course will be an added advantage.
Ability to work autonomously and in a team
