This position supports a fast-growing Financial Technology (fintech) company with a mission to upgrade the unattended retail industrys (vending, bottlers, kiosk, amusement, coin op) business operations to a cashless and real-time based logistics world. The company is looking for a seasoned Microsoft Full Stack SRE Engineer to join the Network Operations team to support and optimize production applications and systems.

As a seasoned DevOps Engineer, you will have experience in application support, infrastructure support and scripting in a Windows / .NET / Azure environment. You will have experience in migrating applications and services to Azure and supporting those applications and services in Azure. You will plan, execute, and implement new system hardware, virtual machines, applications, services, create scripts to solve solutions, create and maintain team technical instructions, operating procedures and policies as needed. Experience and skills to analyze problems and solve them.

Responsible for infrastructure including build, manage, maintain, deploy, trouble shoot and support servers in bare metal, virtualized and cloud environments.

Responsibilities also include performing changes and troubleshooting of Microsoft based applications and databases. Perform other duties as directed.

Duties and responsibilities

Daily responsibilities will range from Production systems support to include troubleshooting, automatic scheduling, perform changes, monitoring, system configuration, tuning and optimization, backup scheduling, scripting, and performance technical analysis.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of experience working with Web, Data Processing Workflows, App or System Configuration on premise systems and cloud
• Designed and created an automation infrastructure, could be SRE, Dev or QA related, to deal with commonalities
• Experience with distributed systems Monitoring, Observability and request tracing, can describe ideal metrics or logs to do this successfully
• Has built time series data visualization for insight, knows how to find relevant data points and understands what the trend describes to determine next steps
• Troubleshooting experience - Can act on any stack trace to find insight in code, preferably in .Net, SQL Server and mobile
• Quality Work - You are thorough with coding, reviewing dependencies, testing at code and system operations level.
• Can identify next steps with feedback and provide constructive feedback to progress the teams efforts
• Responsible - Take being On Call for Production seriously
• Hands on experience with setting up and running tests to validate systems operations and changes, understand how to determine Actual vs Expected Successful states
• Experience with planning, migrating, and building environments in cloud provider infrastructure.
