Roles and Responsibilities

Requirements:

1. Must have at least 7-8+ years of experience in backend development and architecture design.
2. Must have led a team of software developers in the past for at least 2-3 years.
3. Must have led projects in the past and successfully deployed in production.
4. Should have a willingness to get learn new technologies and frameworks.
5. Should have high regard for code quality and understanding of refactoring.
6. Attention to detail and building scalable and maintainable applications for businesses.
7. Extensive hands-on experience with Typescript/NodeJs, MySQL, PostgreSQL, mongoDB.
8. Extensive hands-on experience with Cloud Technologies like AWS, Azure, Google Cloud.
9. Extensive experience in DevOps

The icing on the Cake:

1. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to lead a decision-making process.
2. Experience with Atlassian JIRA and Confluence for managing the application lifecycle.
3. Working experience with Scrum methodology.
4. Exposure to maintaining code quality using various tools and guidelines.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead Product development and should take responsibility for quality product development
2. Lead a team of backend developers and guide them as a true leader.
3. Develop and deliver amazing software solutions with unit/e2e test cases.
4. Implement the best development practices and life cycle processes within the team.
5. High commitment to work and taking ownership of deliverables.
6. Attending client demos/meetings as well as internal scrum meetings.
7. Hiring new team members by taking interviews and training them.
8. Promote a culture of rigorous software development practice and high-quality standards.
9. Responsible for handling complex issues and the development of complex components.
10. Come up with your own goals and dont need heavy direction or daily check-ins
